We start with one of my templates OR you can purchase one from another designer. Here are some of my favorites.

One week after you provide your content, you get a brand-new, beautiful website, that will take your business to the next level!

Customization of 5 main pages (home, about, services, contact, blog) and any “other” pages from the template (legal pages, social links, 404 page, etc.)
YOU provide text and photos and branding (logo, colors, fonts) and I apply them to your template.
If you do not have logo, fonts, and colors - we will use a text based logo and I will select a simple font pair and color palette for you.

Basic SEO = Search Engine Optimization. I will make sure the technical set-up of your site is set up to help you be found by search engines
Domain Connection or Migration - I will map your domain from your domain registrar to Squarespace, move your domain to Squarespace, or help you get a domain if you don’t have one! (Note: If you transfer your domain to Squarespace or register a new domain with Squarespace, you get one year FREE!)
Newsletter & Social Media Connection - If needed, I will connect your website to your existing email newsletter tool and social media platforms.
Built-in Website Analytics - Squarespace has robust built-in visitor analytics so you can see who’s stopped by your website (and more!). I will connect your website to Google Search Console which gives you even more data right at your fingertips.
Mobile Responsive Design - I will make any special tweaks your website might need to make sure your design looks as good on mobile as it does on your desktop.

Squarespace Email Campaigns is Squarespace’s platform for sending newsletters and other email marketing.
If you are just starting out sending newsletters or want to send a lead magnet (“freebie”), this is a great, affordable, easy to use choice!
FYI: Squarespace Campaigns requires a separate subscription. You can find the pricing here. (You get 20% off the first year with my Circle discount!)
You will also need an email address for your domain (if you don’t have one) but your first year through Google Workspace is FREE with a Squarespace subscription.

If you want to allow your clients to schedule directly with you online or accept payments for scheduling time with you, I can help you select a platform, set it up and connect it to Squarespace.
FYI: A scheduling platform (Acuity, Calendly, Breely, etc.) requires a separate subscription which is not included in this set-up price.

The Semi-Custom Website Process

DISCOVERY
You fill out my contact form to tell me your interested in a semi-custom website and I send you a discovery questionnaire. We have a quick call to confirm that the semi-custom website is right for you. If we decide YES! we schedule a strategy call.
02
STRATEGY CALL
We meet again to talk strategy, map out your pages and layouts, and talk about any other tools you might need to work with your website. When you are ready, you sign a contract and book your project dates.

PREPARE CONTENT
You use my Content Guide to help you write your words and gather images (Which is SOOOO much easier when you can visualize where things will go versus starting with a blank slate!).

BUILD WEBSITE
I transform the template into an online home just for you using your content and colors and fonts that match your business vibe (with input from you!)

LAUNCH & LEARN
Your website is ready to launch just one week after our scheduled start date. We get on a call to launch together, I hand over the keys to your website and we do a quick training overview.
06
POST LAUNCH SUPPORT
You get 30 days of email support after launch and access to my full training library so you can make updates to your website yourself when you need to!

Squarespace subscription: You will need a Basic or Core Squarespace subscription. You can find the current Squarespace pricing here. (You will save 20% on your first year subscription with my Squarespace Circle discount. )
Domain: If you don’t already have a website domain (xxx.com) you will need to purchase one for $20/year (your first year is free with a Squarespace subscription)
Legal Page Text (eg. Privacy Policy): I will suggest free and paid options.
Other Potential Costs: Custom icons (a few dollars each), stock photography (if you can’t find free options), any other online software you need for your business (email marketing, scheduling, CRM, etc..)

You pay a $100 deposit before our strategy call
The remainder of the project cost is split as follows:
30% when your contract is signed to lock in your project dates.
40% when I start building your website
30% right before we launch your site

Your semi-custom website will be installed on your Squarespace account as a NEW website. This allows you to maintain your existing website while I am customizing your template for your NEW website.
When you are ready to launch, you will need to purchase a NEW subscription (which will include my Circle discount) and cancel the subscription on the existing website.
If there is remaining time on the old subscription, reach out to Squarespace and they will offer a prorated refund. (I cover this in your launch course too!)

No problem! You can purchase one through Squarespace when we set up your website and the first year is free! (after that it’s about $20/year). You can also purchase your domain from another provider and I can connect it to your website.

The first step is to fill out my contact form and answer a few questions about your business and website needs.
If it seems like a fit, I will send you a link to book a free 15-minute discovery call.
If we decide to work together, we will look at our calendars and find a time that works for both of us to schedule your website build!
It will be at least 2-3 weeks out from our intro call to make sure you have time to write your website text and gather photos.

Your website comes with one month of email support. You will be equipped with lots of training videos and guides that should allow you to make most updates on your own.
If you don’t want to update your own website or need something more complicated, you can hire me for a half day or a full day to make updates for you.
