My custom web design package is one flat rate for up to 5 main pages and all of the essential features and support you need for a professional service based website.
The details below explain exactly what’s included in the package and costs for additional pages and add-on services.

Everything below is included in the custom website package.

Typical pages include Home, About, Services, Contact, and one other page (Sales Page, Resources, etc.).
YOU provide text and images/photos and icons (if desired)

90 Minute strategy call
Content guide to help you prepare your words
Website copy review, feedback, and light editing
Two hours of stock photo sourcing
Check-in call the week before content is due to provide feedback and guidance to be sure you are ready to go!

If you don’t already have a logo, fonts, and colors I will:
Select fonts and colors based on a questionnaire you complete about your business and design preferences
Design a simple text based logo and favicon (browser tab image) for your site

Legal Pages (using text you provide) - Every website SHOULD include some standard legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, etc..) I will provide guidance and options at different price points for you to purchase legal page templates that you can modify for your business.
Custom 404 Error Page - People land on this page if they use the wrong URL for a page that doesn’t exist. This is valuable real estate to refer people to other places on your website!
Social medial links page and Site Credits pages (if needed)

Basic SEO = Search Engine Optimization. I will make sure the technical set-up of your site is set up to help you be found by search engines
Domain Connection or Migration - I will map your domain from your domain registrar to Squarespace, move your domain to Squarespace, or help you get a domain if you don’t have one! (Note: If you transfer your domain to Squarespace or register a new domain with Squarespace, you get one year FREE!)
Newsletter & Social Media Connection - If needed, I will connect your website to your existing email newsletter tool and social media platforms.
Built-in Website Analytics - Squarespace has robust built-in visitor analytics so you can see who’s stopped by your website (and more!). I will connect your website to Google Search Console which gives you even more data right at your fingertips.
Mobile Responsive Design - I will make any special tweaks your website might need to make sure your design looks as good on mobile as it does on your desktop.

You will get 1:1 training when your website launches and access to my full training library

Your Squarespace subscription is not included in the website price. Find Squarespace pricing here (You will most likely need a business plan.)
Optional Add-ons
The following services can be added at an additional cost.

We can add as many pages as you need to your website. If you’re not sure what you need, we will figure it out together! (Price per page depends on the length and complexity of the content)

If you would like to add a blog to your website or have a portfolio for your work, this add-on price includes up to 3 blog posts or portfolio projects (and training on how to add future posts yourself.)

Squarespace Email Campaigns is Squarespace’s platform for sending newsletters and other email marketing.
If you are just starting out sending newsletters or want to send a lead magnet (“freebie”), this is a great, affordable, easy to use choice!
FYI: Squarespace Campaigns requires a separate subscription. You can find the pricing here. You get 20% off the first year with my Circle discount!

IIf you want to allow your clients to schedule directly with you online or accept payments for scheduling time with you, I can help you select a platform, set it up and connect it to Squarespace.
FYI: A scheduling platform (Acuity, Calendly, Breely, etc.) requires a separate subscription which is not included in this set-up price.
How it Works
My process guides you every step of the way so you know exactly what you need to provide for a smooth and easy project experience:

You fill out my contact form to tell me your interested in a custom website and I send you a discovery questionnaire.
We have a 30-minute call to find out if I am the right designer for your project.
If it’s a fit, we schedule a strategy call and I collect a non-refundable deposit ($250).

We meet again to do a deep dive on your business and website requirements. We outline your new website (select a website template, if relevant) and figure out what tools you might need to support and market your business.
After the call, I provide content guides and instructions for gathering your website content.

Using detailed guides and a clear process from me; you write your website text and gather your professional website photos.
I am here to support you every step of the way and provide feedback and guidance on your content.
When you are ready, you book your project dates and sign a contract for your website build.

Before your project start date, we meet to make sure you are ready to go with everything I need.
I build your website over 2-3 weeks and you have my undivided attention the whole time. We stay in touch for reviews and feedback along the way.

At the end of 2-3 weeks, we launch your website out into the world! I show you around behind the scenes and teach you how to make updates on your own.
You also get 1 month of free email support and access to a library of training videos to support you.

Yes, I only build Squarespace websites. I think Squarespace is the best platform to build beautiful, easy-to-use websites for small businesses.
Designing on one platform helps me keep things as simple as possible for my clients. Subscriptions are affordable and hassle-free. You don’t have to worry about plugins, back-ups, separate hosting platforms, or security because it’s all built-in.
I am confident that you will be very happy with a Squarespace website.

Squarespace subscription: You will need a business plan Squarespace subscription. You can find the current Squarespace pricing here. You will save 20% on your first year subscription with my Squarespace Circle discount.
Domain: If you don’t already have a website domain (xxx.com) you will need to purchase one for $20/year (your first year is free with a Squarespace subscription)
Legal Page Text (eg. Privacy Policy): I will suggest free and paid options.
Other Potential Costs: Custom icons (a few dollars each), stock photography (if you can’t find free options), any other online software you need for your business (email marketing, scheduling, CRM, etc..)

You will need at least 1-2 photos of yourself on a website that is selling YOU and your services. I strongly suggest investing in a photo shoot if you are ready for a full custom website.
I will provide options for curating additional stock photos (free and paid options), to fill in the gaps and the custom web design package comes with 2 hours of help from me to find stock photography.

I do not do full branding or logo design. If you don’t have a logo, I will create a simple text-based “wordmark” for your website and a simple graphic we can use in your browser tab (aka favicon).

I sure do! The semi-custom website starts with a pre-designed template which saves you money and lets me spend more time supporting you through the process instead of coming up with a completely unique design. Its a win win all around!

You pay $225 before our strategy call
The remaining cost will be split as follows:
30% when your contract is signed to lock in your project build dates.
40% at the start of your website build period
The last 30% right before we launch your site!

My business is set up to work with one client at a time so when you lock in your website build dates that time has been reserved for you. If you need to reschedule, you will have to pay another 30% deposit to reserve another date.
Make sure you book your build date at least 2-3 weeks after our strategy call to ensure you have enough time to prepare your website content!

Your website comes with one month of email support. You will be equipped with lots of training videos and guides that should allow you to make most updates on your own.
If you don’t want to update your own website or need something more complicated, you can hire me for a half day or a full day to make updates for you.

I sure can (as long as it’s on Squarespace or you want to move to Squarespace).
Depending on how much “refresh” you need we can do this in a Design Day (or two), re-start with a template (semi-custom website), or if a full overhaul is needed it would be the same process and pricing as a custom website.
