SQUARESPACE WEB DESIGN FOR THERAPIST

Project Overview

Sharon worked with a designer to create a WordPress website many years ago that was primarily focused on promoting her book. When she recently decided to grow her therapy practice, she needed to update her website to focus more on her work as a therapist to attract clients. She also wanted to move to a platform that was more user friendly so she could maintain her own website.

We kept the site very simple and welcoming with soft images and separate services pages for her therapy and consulting work. Sharon had a professional photo shoot so she could include images of herself to build trust with clients. The new site still promotes the book, but it’s lower on the home page with a short intro and a link out to learn more and order the book.

The site includes many “calls to action” so clients have a button right at their fingertips when they are ready to book a consultation. I added a direct link to the FAQ section in the header so the answers to the most important questions are easily accessible from anywhere on the website. The website is also optimized for SEO so clients looking for therapists in Sharon’s local area or virtually where she is licensed to practice, are more likely to find her in search results.

Sharon loves her new site and finally has an online home that feels like her that she can share professionally and use to build her practice.

Let’s talk about your website!
